Monday 23rd March

Hello to our wonderful Olive Hill community. I just wanted to start by thanking everyone for the support they have shown us during this difficult time. It was heart breaking to close our school on Friday.

Oreo and Margo have returned to school this morning and I know they are going to miss your cuddles. Miss Lee is very concerned that we may forget to feed them, but I have assured her that they will squeak at us very loudly if they are hungry.

Some of you have emailed us using the children@olive.dudley.sch.uk email account with details of what you did at the weekend. It seems that lots of you have had fun - painting, cooking and family games. Many of the school adults have also been entertaining their own children over the weekend: Mrs Shinner made cookies with her children, Mrs Birch’s son painted a rainbow (without making a mess), and Mrs Waldron was busy collecting worms with her son.

I hope you are all looking after your parents and carers - ready, respectful, safe is an expectation at home as well as in school.

Remember to keep active when you can. Click on the link for a fantastic PE lesson that can be done as a family in the comfort of your own home: Joe Wicks PE.

Stay safe, we are missing you all.
