Uniform

Although the school uniform cannot be made compulsory in Primary School, we feel that there are many benefits to be had for all in children wearing school uniform.  This view is supported at present, by all parents and we hope you will do likewise.  We have tried to keep the uniform as economical as possible.

Boys

  • Charcoal Grey Trousers.
  • White Polo Shirt.
  • School Blue Sweatshirt*.
  • Plain White/Royal Blue/Grey or Black Socks.
  • Plain Black Shoes.

Boys P.E.

  • Plain Black Shorts.
  • Plain White Round-Neck T-Shirt.
  • Plain Black Jogging Bottoms.
  • Plain Black Pumps.
  • Trainers.

Girls

  • Charcoal Grey Skirt/Pinafore or Trousers.
  • White Polo Shirt.
  • School Blue Cardigan or Sweatshirt*.
  • Blue and White Check Summer Dress.
  • Plain White/Royal Blue/Grey or Black Socks or Tights.
  • Plain Black Shoes.

Girls P.E.

  • Black Black Shorts.
  • Plain White Round-Neck T-Shirt.
  • Plain Black Jogging Bottoms.
  • Plain Black Pumps.
  • Trainers.

Year 4 Swimming

  • Bathing Costume/Trunks
  • Towel
  • Swimming Hat (for children with long hair)
  • Goggles (only if there is a medical reason given in writing to the child's class
    teacher)

 

* These items are available bearing the school logo from the school office.

 

All children will require a suitable labelled bag to keep their P.E. kit in.

 

Important

Hair

Hair accessories must be white, royal blue, grey or black.  Large bows, flowers, Alice bands and other large accessories are not permitted.

Headscarves should be black, royal blue or grey in colour.  They should be of such a length that they do not conceal the school logo or badges on the child's jumper or cardigan.

 

Make-up

Make-up is not permitted.

Nail varnish is not permitted.

Temporary tattoos are not permitted.

 

Jewellery

One pair of stud earrings may be worn.

A wristwatch may be worn.

If jewellery is to be worn for religious reasons then this can only be permitted in agreement with the headteacher/deputy headteacher and written permission will need to be kept on file.

No jewellery can be worn for P.E.

 

A small bag (bearing the school logo) for books and personal effects may be purchased from the school office.

 

PLEASE WOULD YOU PUT YOUR CHILD'S NAME ON ALL PERSONAL PROPERTY.  IF PROPERTY IS LOST WE HAVE A LOST PROPERTY RACK LOCATED IN SCHOOL NEAR THE YEAR 2 ENTRANCE BY THE SCHOOL LIBRARY.
